Kim,
What a pretty campus. I bet you're glad your son is home. Nel and Jess both have degrees from college - Jess has one in Interior Design and works for a company close to her home, and Nel has her Masters and is working on her Phd. She teaches Freshman College. Right now she has to read so many books to work towards her degree. I am so familiar with those college days. It looks like you and your son are so close. Thanks for sharing his college experience with us.

Thank you, Sheri, for the comments today. I know you are very proud of your two daughters! Nice that Jess gets to work close to her home. I have always thought interior design would be a fun major! What class does Nel teach? I have so much respect for people who teach... I am sure the college she teaches at is beautiful, too. I do feel blessed to be close to both my sons. I was always very close to my Mom, too... Have a beautiful day! xoxo Kim

Kim,
To get back to you...Nel teaches Freshman English. Jess went in her classroom and saw her teach, and said it was so fun to watch her sister teach and it was a very good atmosphere. Jess does work close to her home, but it took her about an hour and a half to get home from work yesterday, and she was drained. That's why she wrote that post. They appreciate the simple pleasures right now in their hectic schedules.

Hi Sheri,
Thanks for visiting me today. That is so nice that Jess got to see Nel in action with her class! How fun! Living in Houston in the past....I know just how draining it can be to be caught in it on the way home. I really learned the meaning of "stop and go traffic" when I lived there. I worked for a lawfirm in downtown Houston and lived on the opposite Spring Branch/Memorial end of town. I had to drive down I 10 to get home, and it was always busy. Even so....I still enjoyed working there. This was, of course, before the days of ipods...I just kept my radio playing which helped to pass the time. I love music.... You gals are doing a great job with your blog! And...the "simple pleasures" are truly the best things in life! xoxo Kim
