Red Rose Alley

Happy Saturday Kim,
Those hollyhocks and butterfly bush are so lovely. I like butterflies too, and whenever I see one, I bend over for a closer look. Remember the days when you could pick all the blackberries that you wanted? My husband would really enjoy that walking trail along the waterfront. He likes to walk, and I have joined him on a few trails myself. Kim, where do you get your clothes? I LOVE that silver shirt and your purse!! And the picture of you walking up the ramp was stunning. I'm glad you had a nice time in Bainbridge Island. The Harbour Public House looks like a great place to eat. Lovely weekend,

Hi Sheri,
Thanks for you very sweet comments. We did have a lovely day just having lunch together and walking the docks...something we love to do. The Harbour House is a great place. Thank you for the compliment on my shirt and purse. I have had that purse about 3 years now. I get so many comments on it. It says "Peace" on the shoulder strap. I actually bought it at the Houston Livestock and Rodeo from a vendor. I have another one that has a zebra type shoulder strap....different style but also purchased at the Houston Rodeo. I am hoping to get another one this spring. The shirt is an INC top from Macys. It is actually a light taupe color but does appear more silver in the photos. I have fun with my clothes.....Thank you, Cher, for being a great role model for women...showing us that you can still fun with your clothes even though you are 50 plus! :) Have a beautiful day! xoxo Kim

Claudia

Great photos, Kim. What a beautiful place to spend the day. The hollyhocks are so lovely - I love old-fashioned flowers like hollyhocks. And the harbor is so picturesque! Thanks so much for sharing your day with us.

Kim,
I was wondering how your were doing as you haven't posted in awhile. I'm so sorry to hear about your husband's sister. A big hug coming your way. I bet you've had alot of things going on lately with your son going off to college. So nice that you got to spend some time with him before. My son just got a new job, and I got to spend some time with him before also. I'll come back to visit tomorrow when you put your new post up. Happy Sunday.
