What a heartwarming post, Kim. I always miss my mom and dad around the holidays, but they are in my heart every day. I was blessed to have all my family with us this Thanksgiving, and we had a nice day. Nel is getting married next Fall, so not sure how it will work out when all the kids get marrried hehe. Have a lovely week Kim.

Hi Kim,

What a beautiful posting. Yes, our loved ones will always be with us in spirit and in our hearts. Beautiful photos and I love Miss Sadie Mae on her leopard pillow. Everyone needs a little leopard. I'm slowly getting back into blogging. It's very time consuming so I haven't had a lot of time to devote to it.

Miss you!

Hi Kim,

I thought I had already commented but I must not have pressed the send button. This is a beautiful posting and your pictures are always so nice. I'm really missng my mom in January it will be 2 years but our family is growing. This Thanksgiving my nephew was here with his wife and their new baby and their adopted child Michael. They are only 13 months apart. It's nice to have the little ones during the holidays because it reminds me that life is a circle and the love keeps growing. It's so true, it's about having the love in our hearts that keep our loved ones alive.

I'm trying to get back into blogging and wanted to drop in to say hello. The wedding shower was beautiful!

Bluebirds and Butterflies

Hi Sandy and Kim,
Thank you sooooo much for taking the time during this busy holiday season to visit my blog. I know you have lost someone dear to you in your life and just wanted to say that as I prepare for the holidays and I am thinking about how much I miss my Mom and Dad.....and they are so absent and missed at this time (and always)....I am also thinking of you and all my dear friends who have lost someone they love, too. I try to bring my parents into my holiday and all those that are not with me that I love. I know you do, too! Just know that there is someone that understands what it is like to have people you dearly love missing at the holidays and that I love you! xoxo Kim

Thank you, Sheri, for your visit at this busy holiday time. I know you are missing your parents, too, at this time. Our loved ones are always with us in our hearts....but are still missed. I am glad that you had family with you at Thanksgiving....family, love and, of course, giving gratitude for all the many blessings we have in our lives. That is what holidays are all about. I am so thankful for you, dear friend. I wish you a very wonderful holiday season. Hugs to you and the girls. xoxo

Hi Kim,

As you can see...I'm back in blog land because it's too cold to garden! Missed you. I did stop by and visit but just didn't post any comments. You are doing great with your photography and as you know....I love hearing about all the places you visit.

The holidays have been a little sad but as you said, I bring their memories into the holidays just as you do. I remember you saying that Paula Dean said "Honey you will always miss your mama" You had a wonderful father so you have 2 special people to miss.

On a lighter note, I could just picture you out on your balcony waving to the fire trucks and santa driving by!!! I still have a lot of reading to catch-up with.

Special hugs to you!

Sandy
