My brother, sister and I had a very sad thing happen in our lives on March 9th, 2012. Our dear, dear Aunt Ruth who has lived in Kissimmee, Florida, for many years passed away very suddenly. She was 82 years old and the last of my sweet Mother's siblings. I was at home in Poulsbo when I got a call from my sister, Jeri, that Aunt Ruth had fallen in her living room while trying to unplug her cellphone and hit her head. She died almost instantly. You can imagine how shocked we were to learn that our beloved Aunt Ruth was suddenly gone. We loved our aunt very much and will miss her everyday. She never had any children and my siblings and I were like her own children to her. I have so many wonderful memories of Aunt Ruth that I will cherish and hold close to my heart. I wanted to post a very quick note to let all my dear friends know that I have been absent from blog world over the past couple of weeks because I have been in Florida attending the funeral of my aunt and helping my sister to settle her estate. I will miss my Aunt Ruth and will never, never forget her and the love that she showed me. Thank you so much for visiting my blog today. Know that I love you all and will be sharing a new blog post very soon.....in the next few days. Love to you all xoxo Kim
(((Kim))) I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your dear aunt Ruth. I am so sorry about the comment that I left thinking you might be on a wonderful vacation with Mark. I had no idea what had happened. I'm keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. It must be especially difficult because it was so sudden and she is one of the last remaining siblings of your mom. I'm so sorry.
Please delete the comment from me thinking you were on a vacation. I removed your comment on my website about your dear aunt.
I'll be thinking about you. Take time my dear friend to spend with your family.
Lots of love and hugs,
Sandy

Dear Kim,
I'm so sorry to hear about your beloved Aunt Ruth. It sounds like she was so special to all of you. You know, my mom's sister is the only sister left out of four girls, and one brother still living. This must be a very hard time for you right now. It's never easy to say good-bye to the ones we love. I wanted to tell you that I'm right in the middle of a big move - still in California, but I will be busy for the next week too. I will visit with you as soon as I'm settled in. The picture of the red rose is so pretty, and perfect for Aunt Ruth. I am sending you my love, Kim, and I know with all the love in your heart, that you will receive it.

Oh Kim
I'm so so sorry. I had bad news of a dear lady friend of mine who also died on the same day as your dear Aunty Ruth. Maybe they met in heaven.
Take time and sift through all your wonderful memories of her. It's the only thing that keeps us close to them.
Sending hugs my friend.
Love Claudie

Hi Trish,
Thank you soooooo much for your sweet comments on my blog. I am so blessed to have such great blog friends. You are a special blessing to me, Trish. I always enjoy seeing you on my blog. Thank for your love and support. You have been with me since the beginning of my blog. That has meant so much to me. I hope things are going well in Australia. Hugs to all those lovely ladies in Patchwork. Thank you for your nice comments during a sad time for me. I will truly miss my Aunt Ruth, but feel at peace that she is with my Mom, Dad, all her family and my grandparents in God's beautiful heaven. I was happy that they were all together at Easter. My Aunt Ruth was the last of my mom's family, sadly. She was my very favorite Aunt and will be missed but kept close to my heart forever. Have a bluebird day, Trish! Hope you have had a chance to enjoy a delicious high tea with your family recently. Love ya, Kim xoxo
