Hi dear friends,
I hope that you have had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family and friends. Thanksgiving is the time to stop and remember all the many blessings in your life. For me, my family is the very first thing I think of. I am also so thankful for God's gift of memories, too. Because we have the blessing of memories, my dear parents in heaven can be with me again at the holidays through the recollections I have of special times spent with them at Thanksgiving, Christmas and other times of the year. I miss them everyday, but they are with me in my heart, mind and spirit. I always make them a part of my holidays by remembering them in prayers, in traditions, with photo ornaments on my trees and by placing their photos on my holiday tables to make them a part of the special day. What are some of your holiday traditions?
As we celebrate our Thanksgiving and remember our blessings, I want to wish all of you a very joyous holiday season. Thank you for sharing my memories and photos at Bluebirds and Butterflies. I appreciate your following me on my blog and being a part of my life. When I count my blessings, I also am thankful for you! Have a Happy Thanksgiving and wonderful upcoming holiday season as we prepare for the Christmas holidays ahead.
Here is a music slide presentation of our Thanksgiving 2013. Happy Holidays! Kim xoxo
Hi Kim, Thanks for sharing your Thanksgiving festivities! Your home looks exquisite and the table is set beautifully. It looks like you had a great day filled with gratitude for all the blessings in your life. Our day was good too. Dave's b-day fell on Thanksgiving this year. We had many of our family with us (a few were missing this year because they had to celebrate elsewhere) We dearly missed Dave's brother who passed away in April this year. I love the idea of setting the table with loved ones photos (the ones who are in heaven) or physically unable to attend because they are out of state.

Oh Kim, I enjoyed seeing the slideshow of your lovely home at Thanksgiving. I just noticed that you did a new post, and I came right over to see it. Your house is decorated so nice, with a bit of Christmas décor too. I'm glad you're doing well and I miss you, my friend.
I hope you are enjoying the Christmas season. I will be back to see this delightful slideshow again, but for now I'm off to bed.
Love,
~Sheri
